The Lyrical Lemonade x Nike Air Force 1 Releases On September 29th

Cole Bennett may have only been satiating a personal interest when he founded Lyrical Lemonade to document the Chicago rap scene in the 2010s, but his video production studio has become a sought-out co-sign over the last decade. Such status has opened up doors for Bennett and team, including their very own Nike Air Force 1 collaboration.

First teased in early August via social media, the joint-effort from the Chicago-based agency and Swoosh delivers a straightforward design with a big message. The “G Fazo,” as the silhouette’s referred to by fellow midwesterner G Herbo, takes on a classic “White-on-White” look across its leather upper and foam and rubber sole unit. Profile swooshes and additional branding throughout the upper, however, interrupt the uniform look in Lyrical Lemonade-approved yellow. “NIKE AIR” logos on the tongue label take on “Black” contrast, while the Air Force 1 collaboration’s most exciting detail — a lemonade carton graphic — lands on the lateral heel. Bennett’s project with the Swoosh arrives in a special Lyrical Lemonade box that ties the beverage concept together.

Enjoy campaign imagery of the pair ahead, as you wait for firm Nike SNKRS launch details.
