The Nike Air Max 97 Prepares Its Own “Teddy Bear” Colorway

The Nike Air Max 97 Prepares Its Own “Teddy Bear” Colorway

The Nike Air Max 97 has been celebrating its 25th anniversary in style. And while the world eagerly awaits for the sneaker’s original “Silver Bullet” look to return, the revolutionary design has dressed up in handfuls of new styles. Case in point?: A new “Teddy Bear” look.

Akin to a previously seen Nike Dunk, the upcoming sneakers opt for a tonal brown arrangement throughout its suede and other hairy material upper. Darker fabric lands on the lower mid-foot and tongue, with plush toy-reminiscent tabs appearing on the lateral heel. The Air Max‘s muse is stamped on the sock-liners, forgoing an appearance on the upper as is the case on the aforementioned ’80s basketball sneaker design. Laces, profile swooshes and other Nike branding deviate from their surroundings in an eye-catching blue.

No firm Nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
