The Nike Air Max 97 Goes Greyscale For Its Latest Colorway

The Nike Air Max 97 Goes Greyscale For Its Latest Colorway

While we await the highly-touted return of the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” amidst the silhouette’s 25th anniversary, The Swoosh has employed a steady stream of neutral-toned outfits affixed with titular accents, the latter of which is removed for the most recent monochrome build.

Coating its cracked leather midfoot overlay in a dark grey outfit, the greyscale treatment ensues across its upper ridges, saving two sections for a seldom inclusion of “Sail” suede and crisp white pigskin. Matching the alloy hue across its laces, adjacently placed pull tabs and mesh tongue above, slight black contrasts lay claim to the sock liner and nubuck tongue tag while the silhouette sits atop a clad cream midsole. Matching its metallic finish across the full-length Air Max unit underfoot, a tried-and-true black/white pairing concludes along the chosen design elements throughout the model’s tread.

Enjoy official images of the Air Max 97 “Silver Metallic” below while we sit tight on the pair’s expected release within the coming weeks.

For more news under the Nike Inc. umbrella, the AMBUSH x Air Force 1 collection is set to debut within the coming months.
