2023 is set to return some of our favorite Jordan silhouettes plucked directly from the archives. From the “Laney” Air Jordan 14 to the “Columbia” AJ 11’s, the Beaverton-based brand is readying for a jam-packed new year that’s set to include a homecoming for the Air Jordan 7 “Chambray”.
Originally released in 2006 alongside the widely regarded Air Jordan 6 and AJ 11 “Defining Moments” Pack, the pair mirrors the original construction more than 16 years later featuring a dominant jet-black nubuck coating the entirety of the upper. Color-matched across its laces and mudguard, the silhouette’s synonymous African print employs across the tongue tooling and raised heel tab proffering the inclusion of “Light Graphite” contrasts. The latter alloy hue renders once again in tandem with the model’s mainstay coat of “Chambray” blue throughout its pull tabs, sectioned midsole and tread underfoot while the tongues embroidered text and collar’s Jumpman come clothed in the aforementioned sky blue shade.
Receiving a tentative August 5th, 2023 release date and $200 USD retail price, enjoy a look at the Air Jordan 7 “Chambray” via zsneakerheadz.
In other news from the under Jordan banner, exclusive access for the Air Jordan 1 “Lost and Found” is set to go out to select Nike Members next Tuesday, November 8th via the SNKRS app.
