Now the Beaverton-based brand is centering its synonymous offshoots around the favorites to hoist the FIFA World Cup Trophy in December, beginning with England’s 3 Lions National Team’s own Air Max 95.
Constructing an aesthetic akin to their home kits, an off-white hue embarks across the smooth leather of the forefoot and midfoot panel, save one wavy strip which indulges in a a blue, purple and grey gradient that’s medial side bears a tonal blue build. Utilizing titular “University Red” trim to outline the heels mini Swoosh, the tongue’s Air Max branding renders a color match while introducing navy and cyan hues that outfit the 3 Lions embroidered tab and branded insoles. Outfitting its upper mesh in a crisp white treatment, navy accents lay claim to the lace loops and tread underfoot whereas its forefoot’s AM bubble proffers the secondary turqoise tone while its heel engages in a jet-black cloak.
