2023 is weeks away, but Nike is still going strong with the Vapormax Flyknit 2021 model — a derivative of the Vapormax Flyknit 2020 originally made for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Keeping to the slimmed down construction, this Vapormax Flyknit boasts the brand’s Move To Zero trademarks via the Nike Grind bits on the outsole and the recycled yarns on the Flyknit upper, while a semi-translucent heel counter reveals the knit pattern beneath. The true standout of this upcoming general release is quite obviously the bright Volt hue, a color that has stayed significant to Nike Running’s heritage — namely from 1995’s Air Max 95 model.
A release on Nike.com is expected soon for $210; see the official images ahead for a closer look.
In other Air Max news, the Air Max Scorpion “Sesame” is set to drop this week.
