The SOULGOODS x Nike Dunk High Collection Distills Three Decades Of Basketball, Music, And Art

For their debut collection with Nike, SOULGOODS is crafting not just one but three different iterations of the Dunk High, all of which come together to tell a story that spans three decades: the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s.

Highlighting the growth of sneaker culture and the communities across Greater China, all three versions of the SOULGOODS x Nike Dunk High serve as a nod to the streetwear label’s roots in basketball, music, style, and art. Each, though, is its own homage, clothed with references to specific characters and stories tied to the above-mentioned decades. The ’80s colorway draws from classic basketball films and local streetball; the ’90s colorway honors rock and hip-hop enthusiasts of the club scene; and the 2000s pair celebrates longtime collectors and artists who bore witness to the previous years.

The SOULGOODs x Nike Dunk High collection is slated to release throughout November and December, effectively closing out the year of 2022 with a bang. At the time of writing this, firm release dates have not yet been reported. More details should surface soon, however, so sit tight for further updates.

In other news, the online release of the A Ma Maniere Air Jordan 4 lands later this week.
