At Least A Year’s Worth Of Off-White x Nike Products To Release Moving Forward

Yesterday, November 28th, marked the one year anniversary of Virgil Abloh‘s unfortunate passing. But even despite his absence, the late designer still bears quite the influence on sneakers, fashion, and design. Numerous posthumous releases, for example, have landed throughout 2022 — and according to a recent interview piece by the New York Times, there is at least a year’s worth of Off-White x Nike product yet to be seen.

From PYREX VISION to Louis Vuitton, Virgil Abloh has crafted an extensive, coveted body of work, much of which will continue to remain relevant for many, many decades to come. This is true not only of Off-White but also of his collaborative partnership with Swoosh, which is soon to bring about Abloh’s first original Nike sneaker: the Off-White x Nike Air Terra Forma. That’s not all we can expect to come about in the future, either, as John Hoke, the Chief Creative Officer of Nike, told the New York Times that “there is at least a year’s worth of Off-White x Nike products already in the pipeline.” Shannon Abloh adds that there are “hundreds of projects that he worked on that he never put out,” which she would like to bring out in the future.

Aside from Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Nike Air Terra Forma, what’s to come from the longstanding partnership is completely under wraps. It’s likely, however, that more details will be shared in due time.
