Comprised of creatives from a wide range of disciplines — fashion, graphic design, architecture, etc. — South Korean design collective ADER error has developed quite the cult following over the years. Hot off the heels of an extremely sought after collaboration with ZARA, the outfit is now directing their attention back to sneakers, this time joining forces with Converse on a reconstructed Chuck 70.
Now revealed on-feet, following a brief appearance in the label’s Spring/Summer ’23 lookbook, the forthcoming ADER error x Converse Chuck 70 plays around with the iconic sneaker without compromising its most recognizable features. Here, much of the collaboration is faithful to the original in design, albeit partially obscured by several canvas fragments, all of which are dressed in the collective’s signature shade of blue. What’s more, in addition to the weathered midsoles and cap toes, pairs include dual laces and a dubrae modeled after the silhouette’s back tab.
For a closer look at the ADER error x Converse Chuck 70, see below. At the time of writing this, a firm release date has not yet been revealed; it’s extremely likely, though, that we’ll be seeing these in the first half of 2023.
In other news, a first look at the Air Jordan 2 Low Look Up In The Air was revealed yesterday evening.
