The New Balance 1906R Has A Penchant For Greyscale Looks

The New Balance 1906R Has A Penchant For Greyscale Looks

As one of the brand’s breakout designs of 2022, the New Balance 1906R is poised to expand its horizons in the new year, assisting in the upcoming Lunar New Year collection, as well as emerging in countless styles intended for general release.

Recently, the retro-inspired silhouette appeared in a heritage-appropriate grey ensemble. A mix of durable materials make up the sneaker’s top-half in varying shades of grey, with the lightest arriving via the profile “N” logos and “1906R” branding on the lateral heel. The tongue, like the midsole, opts for an off-white arrangement that complements the aforementioned makeup, while delivering a vintage feel. Lastly, tried-and-proven tooling from New Balance‘s 860v2 round out the muted proposition, featuring drab grey, cool grey, and pitch black hits.

No firm newbalance.com launch date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
