While a recent wave of suede mudguards and overlays have laid claim to Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max cushioned design, the Nike Air Max 90’s clad-canvas tooling has additionally proffered a diverse array of updates to the early 90s staple. And while the cool winter months ensue, The Swooshes sportswear division is looking towards the spring with a daisy-colored effort.
Eye-catching in nearly every facet, the pair’s tightly knit canvas construction envelops the entirety of the upper, save its horizontally ridged overlays and heel counter. Coordinating an all-out bright white upper, color-matched fuzzy laces similar to those paired with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Rabbit”, mirror the aesthetic of warmer months. Contrasting the monochrome ensemble above, Chenille fabrics build out the midfoot Swooshes in a titular yellow treatment, furthering the daisy-harkened hue for a gradient finish across its midsole. Completed by bleeding the latter vibrant shade unto its semi-translucent tread underfoot, the insoles paint faint floral motifs in conclusion.
While we sit tight on further release details, enjoy official images of the Nike Air Max 90 “Daisy” below in the meantime.
