With Nike expanding existing footwear line-up into the sport of golf, Air Max on the green has been a regular sighting over the last decade. The Air Max 90 and Air Max 270 have been the primary culprits of this infiltration of lifestyle, while the Air Max 97 has been recognized for providing the much-needed limited edition specialties. Now, the original Air Max sneaker is ready to earn its place among the ranks as a new colorway of the modified runner emerges.

Already revealed in the OG “Sport Red” colorway, the Air Max 1 Golf is now revealed in a simple black/white colorway as a simple option. A full black upper, built with the standard suede and sport mesh, is met with a white leather Swoosh, branding at the tongue/heel, and modified outsole. But what’s gotten the attention of the non-golfers is the enlarged Air Max unit, giving us further hints at the looming Air Max 1 Big Bubble that’s set for an Air Max Day 2023 arrival.

The Air Max 1 Golf is set to arrive in several colorways this Spring/Summer 2023 season and continuously through the remainder of the year.
