The Nike Air Max 1 Gets A Stealthy “Triple Black” Makeover

The Nike Air Max 1 Gets A Stealthy “Triple Black” Makeover

The Nike Air Max line celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2022. As part of the occasion, the Air Max 1 emerged in handfuls of compelling styles, but it seems Tinker Hatfield’s revolutionary design os continuing its milestone celebration into the new year as it’s emerged in more styles expected to drop before 2023 ends.

In addition to its return to original “Big Bubble” form as part of the Air Max 1 ’86 modification, the silhouette has recently surfaced in a stealthy all-“Black” look. The offering is sure to drop in adult sizes, but early looks at the pair only display the understated Air Max sneaker in Preschool sizing. Mesh, patent leather, and a nubuck-reminiscent material make up the entirety of the upper, with each component boasting a pitch-dark finish. Underfoot, the game-changing sole unit keeps the shoes’ look uniform, making for an extremely versatile footwear option.

No firm nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that’s likely to change as spring inches closer. In the meantime, enjoy product shots of the pair ahead.
