First Look At The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Cement”

feature image

First rumored in late December 2022, an Air Jordan 1 Low OG covered in “elephant” print has finally surfaced via in-hand product imagery.

Widely dubbed “Black Cement,” the upcoming style mimics the general color palette of the original Air Jordan 3 from 1988. A dark-colored fabric covers the base of the upper while “Tech Grey” panels cover ground across the toe and heel. Swoosh logos on the sides keep things simple in “White,” further interrupting the upper’s black and grey scheme. Elsewhere, heritage branding lands on the top of the tongue and spine, whereas the midsole takes on a “Muslin” color for a vintage effect.

A similar Air Jordan 1 “White Cement” has been teased for several months, but is anticipated to launch late next month. “White” and “Black” panels, however, trade places on the high-top. Panels around the toe, along the tongue, and across the heel keep their grey pattern, helping deliver two similar styles from Brand Jordan.

Enjoy a detailed look at the pair ahead, courtesy of SBD. The shoes are expected to hit Nike SNKRS on June 23 for $140 USD.
