Throughout the past few months, the Beaverton brand has been toying with the appearance of its iconic Swoosh, rendering it in melted conditions and spray-painted aesthetics, with the latter now coordinating a Roswell Rayguns-inspired colorway across the Nike Air Max 90.

While the pair is devoid of any spray paint bottles or gun-toting mascots, the dominant jet-black offering maintains its connection to Dr. Funk and his collection of All-Stars through vibrant orange and yellow hits attributing both the mid-foot Swooshes. Apart from its seldom grey quarter, the entirety of the upper indulges in a near-clad-black arrangement with golden yellow hues outfitting both the tongue and heel tabs branding alongside the heel’s Air Max lettering. Resuming its greyscale touch surrounding the cushioning system underfoot, a simplified crisp white midsole pops amongst the murky aesthetic set forth.

While we sit tight on further release details, enjoy official imagery of the Rayguns-inspired Nike Air Max 90 “Double Swoosh” below in the meantime.
