Teddy Santis Teases Upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier Colorway

Teddy Santis Teases Upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier Colorway

As much a part of New Balance as he is Aimé Leon Dore, Teddy Santis often bridges the gap between the two labels, producing both co-branded 991s and 550s alike. The Rainier, too, was brought back thanks to the Queens native — and though in the middle of its inline run, the silhouette is ostensibly seeing another pair stamped with the ALD mark very soon.

Teased by Santis himself via IG, this upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier is not too dissimilar to one of the collaborative colorways released last year, as it makes use of a very similar palette. Here, though, the pair is less heavy handed in its use of purple, only applying said shade to the laces and midsole. And while the suede overlays are clad in grey once again, the base opts for a much lighter, cream finish this time around.

Enjoy an early look at this Rainier ahead. At the time of writing this, a release date has not yet been revealed; more details should surface soon, however, so sit tight.

In other news, Teddy Santis also revealed the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2.
