Social Status Revisits The Nike Mac Attack From 1984

Social Status Revisits The Nike Mac Attack From 1984

Back in 2022, interest in the Nike Mac Attack started to come to a head, as it was rumored that the sneaker would be returning for 2023. Even SOULGOODS took an interest in the classic not long after — referencing its design for one of their three Dunk Highs — all but confirming that the Swoosh had big plans for the silhouette.

Just two months into the new year, these plans are now beginning to surface, with leaked images revealing the upcoming Social Status x Nike Mac Attack. Yet another standout from The Whitaker Group, the collaboration celebrates the model in its original form, mimicking the look and feel of its OG counterparts. Little has been done to the shoe’s construction, thankfully, staying faithful in the way of material. The silver and black colorway, too, is equally familiar, though the tongue label — which features a white/grey checkerboard and yellow Nike logo — does distinguish the modern pair from its predecessor.

Enjoy an early look at the Social Status x Nike Mac Attack ahead. At the time of writing this, no firm release date has been revealed; for now, sit tight and await further updates.

In other news, the A Ma Maniere Air Jordan 12 is confirmed to be releasing on Feb. 24th.
