From middle-aged dads to performance runners and the DMV’s hustlers, the New Balance 990v3 has intersected with a disparate array of cultural avenues. Coordinating yet another collaboration with longtime partner DTLR, the heralded 990 series is casting a neutral “GR3YSCALE” appearance that all of the silhouette’s admirers can appreciate.
Crafted by DTLR’s June Sanders, the monochromatic ensemble balances the silhouette’s typical mix of suede and mesh throughout the upper while hits of leather anchor the tongue and heel tabs. Casting jet-black shades across its suede mid-foot overlays and split midsole unit, an assemblage of greys outfit the latter embellishments underfoot. Accented by way of bright pops of red across the heel, a secondary pair of laces and seldom reflective detailing provide a street-ready finish to the latest exclusive team-up.
Set to release in full family sizing for a men’s retail price of $210, enjoy official images of the DTLR x New Balance 990v3 “GR3YSCALE” below in the meantime.
