Aged aesthetics have become a welcome sight for the Nike Air Force 1, harkening to decades of heritage presiding within Bruce Kilgore’s iconic silhouette. Recently, the low-top model infused its old-school embellishments with hits of bright red.
Similar to the construction of its recent “Color Of The Month” series, a premium tumbled leather encases the entirety of the crisp white base layer, save its tongue construction which dawns a heavily perforated makeup. Illuminated by bright “University Red” accents, the latter injects a titular personality across the buttery mid-foot Swooshes, insoles, enamel dubraes and the heel tab’s embroidered branding before finishing the chosen hue with a wine-red tint outfitting the tongue tab. While the aforementioned has crafted a synonymous two-toned ensemble, shades of buttercream break up the simplistic color blocking across the laces and midsole unit while an OG gum tread concludes the overall composition.
