Clot’s reinterpretation of the Nike Cortez succinctly channels the yin-yang philosophy while paying homage to traditional house shoes worn in Chinese homes. The resulting 3-in-1 modular sneaker, originally a concept by Harry Wong who first debuted the idea as part of his Nike: On Air contest entry, has been met with heavy praise for good reason, and thankfully several colorways are in the works to release throughout the Spring 2023 season.
Already dropping in white/black, the “Clotez” has just been revealed by @whojungwoo in a yellow/black colorway by, with an additional angle provided by Edison Chen himself. Immediate connections can be made to Bruce Lee’s iconic one-piece jumpsuit worn in the film Game Of Death. These are one of three confirmed colorways of this collaboration, which means one more has yet to be revealed.d
