Since 2019 The Swoosh has quickly positioned the Nike Dunk to mirror the Air Force 1’s success, employing an overwhelming number of disparate color blockings and textile choices for an expansive range of diverse, everyday footwear. Recently, the silhouette’s weekly announcements of new efforts is joined by a clad-canvas tooling.
Typically straying away from the vulcanized material, the latest Dunk Low constructs the entirety of its upper real estate in a jet-black take on the latter, creating a woodgrain-like pattern across the pair. Save its color-matched flat-leather Swooshes, nylon laces and sock liner, the all-out pitch-dark ensemble proffers a diverse on-foot option while incorporating a myriad of textures. Accented by cream-colored contrasts outfitting the midsole unit and sock liner branding, the former injects a neutral personality amidst the return of its monochrome dominance with a black tread underfoot.
