The New Balance 550 Appears With “Bubblegum” Flavor Ahead Of Spring

Although the New Balance 550 has launched in dozens of styles since late 2020, the silhouette continues to appear in refreshing color combinations. Case in point?: A new look unofficially dubbed “Bubblegum.”

Akin to past popular releases, the upcoming pair features perforated and smooth leather throughout its upper. Branding across the sides and on the tongue label interrupt the uniform look that takes over the leather and mesh upper in favor of a rich pink hue. The women’s New Balance sneaker also animates its tongue’s underside, “NB” logo on the spine, and stability clip at the sides of the heel with “Bubblegum” flavor. Lastly, the late 1980s design enjoys a two-tone finish across its basketball-informed sole unit.

Enjoy detailed photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for firm newbalance.com release details. An official release is anticipated for March with a $110 USD price tag.
