Originally released in 2011 and revitalized by A-COLD-WALL* nine years later, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 has ushered in a revitalized slate of heavily cushioned options in association with the overwhelming popularity of the “Dad Shoe”. Recently, the fifth iteration began extending its influence to subsequent models such as casting its TPU overlays across the Dunk Low and reversing the latter by attaching a removable Dunk-like shroud atop the Vomero.
For its next extension, the silhouette casts its “Silverware” composition from late February across the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CFMT 2. While the clad-greyscale ensemble is mirrored fully, the pair’s crisp white underlays come contrasted by an assemblage of greys outfitting the presiding overlays. Elsewhere, jet-black contrasts envelop the mesh tongue construction, laces and sock liner before the Vomero’s “Silver Metallic” embellishments begin to dress the tongue tab and cut-out mid-foot Swooshes with a luminous finish.
Complimented by a cream-colored sole unit underfoot for a seldom vintage twist, enjoy official images of the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 “Silverware” below while we await further release details in the meantime.
In other news from underneath the Jumpman banner, Jayson Tatum broke out the Jordan JT 1 “Blueprint” for his 25th birthday.
