Can you believe it’s been almost twenty years since LeBron James played his first NBA game? To commemorate that first step to the epic journey of the king, Nike is set to reissue the Air Zoom Generation, LeBron’s first signature shoe with Nike. Already confirmed is the “First Game” edition, which LBJ wore on his first Home game on November 5th, 2003, but Nike is ready to add some fresh formulas to that original as part of the silhouettes 20th anniversary.
Case in point: this Air Zoom Generation “Wolf Grey”, which also features a Dark Grey and Anthracite for that triple-grey look. Despite the shades being of the same family, these are hardly a monotonous colorway as the contrast is apparent via the alternating materials. Suede is consistent throughout, but the fineness of the grain is not, which achieves the look.
Additionally, it’s not clear if the protective film will be part of the Retro package, as these official images reveal the chrome bumper without the covering.
Currently, a release date is not yet known, but a release is expected something during the Fall season with an MSRP of $190.
In other Nike LeBron news, the LeBron 20 “Total Orange” is set to drop on Friday, March 10th.
