The (di)vision x ASICS “Crafts For Mind” Collection Breathes New Life Into Broken Sneakers

Helmed by brother-sister duo Simon and Nanna Wick, Copenhagen-based fashion label (di)vision aims to “create from what already is,” exclusively making use of deadstock fabrics and preexisting materials. This design ethos informs even their upcoming collaboration with ASICS, which effectively breathes new life into sneakers perceived as broken.

Working with ASICS in a way that aligns with their vision and inspirations, (di)vision presents a limited run of twenty different sneakers, each customized in ways characteristic of the label. Comprised of several iterations of both the GEL-Nimbus 9 and EX89, the collection, dubbed “Crafts for Mind,” seeks the beauty in imperfection, all the while acknowledging the scars of our past and the growth that’s sure to follow. This is visualized not just in the various pins — which mirrors the physical mementos one might keep — but also the 90s-esque, natural dye treatment, the subtle distressing, and upcycled bandana.

Enjoy a closer look at the (di)vision x ASICS “Crafts For Mind” collection ahead. For details on the entire 20-piece range, head over to nakedcph.com where the entire capsule will be dropping on March 17th.

In other news, a third Action Bronson New Balance 990v6 was just unveiled.
