Jovani Hernandez Marquette University’s Golden Eagles men’s basketball team almost tasted the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament, but Michigan State had other plans. Despite a tough loss in the Round of 32, the athletics program will get its own Air Jordan 1 Low OG.
The latest in the growing number of Player-Exclusive retros for Marquette, the low-top Air Jordan 1 proudly features “MU Blue” and “University Gold” atop a cream-colored leather base. Overlays throughout the sneaker’s upper enjoy a textured finish that inject a touch of luxury into the pair; quilted satin inner liners double down on the Air Jordan‘s special nature. “MU” logos are stamped onto the yellow footbed, while the remainder of the retro’s branding remains intact. Lastly, the “Marquette” PE opts for a semi-translucent, gum brown bottom that makes the exclusive pair perfect for the impending summer.
