Each year, Nike ACG targets the Spring to launch a freshly packaged assortment of gear for the hiking season. A variety of footwear and apparel, covering both the modern sensibility and retro-themed demands, is confirmed to drop beginning in April, with one item to look out for being the sequel to the much-praised ACG Mountain Fly series.
Having been revealed in a variety of colors already, the ACG Mountain Fly Low 2 emerges yet again in a fourth known drop we’re dubbing “Iron Ore”. Alongside that light grey hue us a touch of black, most evident on the oversized All Conditions Gear logo on the upper, as well as Flat Pewter – a tan/grey hybrid that appears on the interior lining of the model.
This sequel hasn’t strayed far from former Nike designer Nathan Van Hook’s original creation, and thankfully so. The aggressive rubber traction that scoops upward at the toe and heel should provide ample support when climbing through intermediate-level terrains, while the selection of colors appeal to those who like to blend in with nature.
A release is expected beginning April 2023; see the first look images ahead.
