A routine collaborator within the sneaker ecosystem, atmos has stormed onto the scene in 2023 with a duo of collaborations at the hands of adidas and New Balance. Following their treatment on a handful of street-ready styles, the legendary Japanese storefront is taking to the country’s lush outdoors for their first official team-up with Salomon.
Inspired by the concept of a celestial collision, the greyscale Salomon XT-6 depicts the unique phenomena of stardust scattering across a galaxy while infusing the staple star pattern that appeared on a myriad of atmos collabs throughout the early 2000s. Treating its mesh base layer and surrounding overlays in a black and grey association, luminous silver metallic detailing lines the upper’s TPU while a speckled finish details the pitch-dark sole unit underfoot. In keeping with the typical placement of its successive branded embellishments, atmos appear along the striped tongue construction while bungee cord laces above ready the silhouette for a number of outdoor adventures.
Scheduled to release next Sunday, April 8th for a retail price of $200, enjoy official images of the atmos x Salomon XT-6 “STARS COLLIDE”
In other news, UCLA freshman Kiki Rice recently debuted the Air Jordan 38.
