First Look At The Nike Air Foamposite One “Anthracite” Releasing 2023

This article was originally published on March 29th and has been updated on August 25th.

Originally thought to have been pushed back to Spring 2024, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Anthracite” is expected to release on December 12th of this year. Enjoy a closer look at the pair via the official images added ahead.

The releases have been few and far in between, but Foamposite heads have a lot to be grateful for in 2023. In addition to the return of the “Metallic Red” Foamposite and the upcoming release of the mythical Penny Hardaway PE, Nike is set to re-release the Anthracite Foamposites this Holiday 2023 season.

First dropping back in 2007, the Air Foamposite One “Anthracite” was at one point one of the most sought-after sneakers on the market, particularly during the heyday of the molded basketball sneaker. Although a re-issue occurred as recently as October 2020, there will be always be room for more of these blacked-out Foamposites. This first look at the upcoming 2023 release shows no differences from previous pair, even including the nubuck suede on the lace collar.

See a first look at the Air Foamposite One “Anthracite” here and stay tuned for a release this Holiday 2023 season for $240.
