Jared Ebanks Returning at the tail end of 2022, the New Balance Rainier has prepared a steady stream of propositions throughout the latter few months. From suede-treated upper overlays to GORE-TEX coated panels, the silhouette has recently introduced a look at its low-top construction which now prepares a sleek clad-black composition.
Mirroring the build of its “Glazed Ginger” effort, a glossy thick leather consumes a dominant majority of the upper’s real estate wrapping the mudguard, heel counter and embossed mid-foot panel. Color-matched to further imbue the pitch-dark grandeur, the ballistic mesh base layer combines with the thick nylon laces and leather sock liner to fill out the remaining embellishments while blacked-out lug soles underfoot ready the model for any and all adventures.
