Twelve Can’t Miss Sneaker News Headlines From April 1 To April 7

feature image

April has brought its fair share of rainy days across the world, but it’s also delivered new looks at upcoming sneakers.

Official photos of the Run the Jewels x Nike SB Dunk collaboration surfaced, leading casual and diehard fans alike to mark “April 20” on their calendars. Elsewhere, the Nike Dunk also appeared in handfuls of refreshing solo efforts, which include new takes on the oft-overlooked Mid.

The past week was good on the basketball sneaker front. Dallas Maverick star Luka Dončić unveiled his second signature model, the Jordan Luka 2. No release details have been confirmed about the shoe, but netizens have already taken to social media to express their interest in the sequel. Another Nike Ja 1 colorway has gotten a firm release date, further cementing the Memphis Grizzles guard behind the shoe as “next up” for the Swoosh. Perhaps unexpectedly, Austin Reaves of the Los Angeles Lakers was linked to his own signature sneaker with Chinese brand Rigorer.

On the lifestyle side of things, unreleased samples of the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low made rounds across social media. The ultra-rare Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low also appeared in official product shots, confirming a retail release for the first time.

For all that and more, check out our top headlines from April 1 to April 7 ahead.
