Having been routinely gifted to each of the brands’ Power 5 sponsored schools over the past few years, the 40th iteration of the “workhorse for your feet” is making its first stop on its college road trip in Durham, NC.
Diverting from its predecessor’s clad-blue ensemble, the Duke Blue Devils’ Pegasus 40 dresses its knit upper in a dominant crisp white composition with jet-black contrasts clarifying the mid-foot Swoosh, eye stays and nylon liner. Dipping its Air Zoom cushioning system in the colorless hue, a black and blue tread underfoot aids the silhouette’s versatile range of wear for student-athletes and fans alike. Aside from the bold white “DUKE” branding lining the tongue tabs and “D” logo anchoring the lateral heel, the Bull City is well-represented through the program’s synonymous blue hue illuminating the jacquard tongue construction, suede overlay and insoles.
