“University Blue” Adds Another Nike Dunk Low To The “Athletic Dept.” Lineup

“University Blue” Adds Another Nike Dunk Low To The “Athletic Dept.” Lineup

Every few months Nike Inc. unveils a thematic collection that encompasses a dominant majority of its lifestyle offerings. From amplifying a fictional moving company to honoring the Pacific Northwest’s fishing population, the Beaverton brand has assumed its old-school roots with an “Athletic Dept” slogan that now invigorates a second Nike Dunk Low.

Indulging in a near-identical color blocking to its bright red counterpart, the Peter Moore design casts a familiar greyscale appearance atop its nubuck overlays while an aged aesthetic touches down along the “Coconut Milk” dipped laces and midsole. Lightening the overall ensemble with a crisp white base layer, the low-top model looks toward the UNC-synonymous “University Blue” tincture to illuminate its collar, tongue trim, heel tab, mid-foot Swoosh and tread underfoot while golden Nike embroidery and colorless “Athletic Department” branding curtail the summer-ready effort.

As we await further release details, in the meantime enjoy official images of the Nike Dunk Low Athletic Dept. “University Blue” below.

In other news, the Jordan Tatum 1 “Barbershop” has been revealed in detailed imagery ahead of its May 16th release date.
