Bruce Kilgore changed the footwear landscape forever when he designed the Nike Air Force 1 Low in 1983. Recently, the presidential sneaker emerged in a summer-ready mix of off white and brown tones.
Smooth leather makes up the sneaker’s upper, abandoning any suede and canvas found on other takes on Kilgore’s classic. Panels around the toe, along the tongue, and at the Achilles’ heel, as well as the profile swooshes, opt for a light grey hue. Remaining leather components favor a “Bone”-colored finish that complements the “Gum” bottoms underfoot well. Rope laces, silver upper eyelets, and shimmering branding on the tongue label round out the upcoming Air Force 1.
