Michael Le May got off to a really exciting start: Nike celebrated Gigi Bryant’s birthday with the Kobe 4 Protro “Mambacita,” the Air Jordan 1 “Spider-Verse” shock dropped via SNKRS, and the Jarritos x Nike SB Dunks landed at select skate shops. And if you weren’t lucky enough to secure a pair of the latter, this upcoming week should be equally exciting, as the collaboration will be releasing globally via Nike SNKRS on May 10th.
And that’s not all that’s happening within the next few days. Alongside two pairs of the FAMU x Nike LeBron 20, the week will kick off with the Air Force 1 and Dunk High’s homage to San Francisco’s Chinatown. Looking ahead, the aforementioned King will be throwing things all the way back to his first signature, the Air Zoom Generation, which will be returning in an all-grey make-up. We’ll also see the Swoosh celebrate another goat, Michael Jordan, with not one but two colorways of the Air Ship “Every Game.”
As we begin to close out the week, the Air Jordan 11 Low dresses up in “Yellow Snakeskin,” fragment applies their signature colors to the Converse Weapon, and New Balance begins their “Grey Day” festivities. But what’s arguably most exciting is the official launch of the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder.”
