Jared Ebanks For years The Swoosh has looked to expand the Nike Dunk’s impact amongst its’ female sneaker audience. From the Disrupt to the Scrap the Peter Moore design has experimented with its clad-leather upper on a number of occasions with the latest in the exploratory slate of Twist-ed silhouettes are now joined by a boisterous “Rush Fuchsia” option.
Featuring a molded rubber Swoosh and translucent bumpers affixed to the mudguard and heel, the latter embellishments sit atop the model’s synonymous black overlays. Color-matching the pitch-dark shade along the laces, tongue tab and nylon collar lining, the smooth leather underlays and tongue construction are slathered in the vibrant violet treatment in a striking contrast to the pair’s gloomy introduction. Underfoot, the summer-ready option constructs a vintage cream-colored midsole that breathes a touch of OG flavor within the nearly 40-year-old model.
