Jared Ebanks Two years removed from its 25th anniversary, the Nike Air More Uptempo has remained a staple within the Beaverton brand’s recurring lineup of former on-court silhouettes that now live within the lifestyle vein. Alongside its renovated Slide counterpart, the Scottie Pippen-endorsed proposition is expanding its roster of summer-ready ensembles.
Initially previewed at the start of the month, light “Guava” accents run rife throughout the neutral-based palette. Lining the graffiti-style AIR lettering and filling the forefoot’s embroidered Swoosh, an onslaught of “Sail” centric hues cure the model’s remaining real estate. From the molded tread and full-length Air bubble underfoot to the heavily perforated leather of the upper, a clad concoction of tan shades envelop the entirety of the upper for a supple two-toned offering infused with a seldom wave of pastels.
