Back in 2022, HAL Studios and ASICS introduced the very first sneaker in what would eventually become a collaborative trilogy. And while there’s sure to be plenty more to come from the duo, the release of the GEL-1130 MK III “Glacier” does mark the end of an era.
Following in the footsteps of the “Smoke Grey” and “Forest,” the HAL Studios x ASICS GEL-1130 MK III “Glacier” is by far the collection’s most understated offering. A soft, off-white shade is used throughout the entirety of the construction, brushing not only the distressed suedes but also the leather trims and mesh inserts. Seldom hits of black are then applied across the forefoot, eye stays, and heel, further contrasting the bright red strings of the lace unit. And while the pair might differ heavily from the rest of the trilogy in terms of colorway, it does make use of the very same “HAL Studios” branding found on the spine of its predecessor.
