Updated December 20th, 2023: After a first look back in June, the Nike SB Air Max Ishod now appears via official images in a new white/orange/aqua colorway. A release is currently expected for early 2024.

Based on the official images, we can clearly see an early-2000s skate shoe aesthetic with the slightly higher-cut. Nike also ushers Air Max cushioning technology to the silhouette as the brand continues to increase appeal of Air Max to the younger Gen Z crowd.

Skateboarding has taken Ishod Wair around the world, opening the doors for a plethora of sponsorships and affiliations. Although Wair has been a household name amongst skaters for over a decade, the New Jersey-native has expanded his reach with the help of Nike SB in recent memory.
The Nike SB Ishod debuted to much fanfare at the beginning of January 2022. Over the past year and change, the silhouette has won over countless riders and sneaker enthusiasts alike. Recently, Wair and his Nike SB family unveiled what should be the Ishod 2 via a video posted to Instagram. Wair’s presumed second signature model with the Swoosh features a similar low-top trim and sleek shape to its predecessor – some fans have even drawn comparisons to the Nyah Free 2, Nyjah Huston’s second shoe. The Ishod 2 seemingly replaces soft suede for synthetic panels throughout the upper, with a bootie-like component seemingly locking the foot in. The biggest departure from the first Ishod Wair signature skate shoe, however, is the Air Max unit towards the heel.
