The New Balance 1906R Appears With A Refreshing “Sprite” Color Scheme

Born in 2009, the New Balance 1906R has found new life over the last two years.

Recently, the retro performance running model emerged in a blue, grey, and neon green color scheme worthy of a “Sprite” moniker. Mesh base layers opt for a bold blue makeup, while overlays throughout the upper divvy up a grayscale arrangement. Tried-and-proven cushioning from the New Balance 860v2 lands underfoot, boasting an “aged” midsole. Inserts under the forefoot and heel bring some of the upper’s neon green flair down below, while the remainder of the tooling enjoys more traditional grey and black finishes.

Enjoy detailed photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for a stateside newbalance.com launch.

In related sneaker news, the New Balance 9060 continues to emerge in new styles.
