Michael Le Unlike its sibling, the 2002R, the 1906R wasn’t quite the breakout success New Balance hoped it would be. But it’s starting to look like the model is finally receiving its due, as collaborations with COMME des GARCONS HOMME, Salehe Bembury, and Action Bronson are soon underway.
The New Balance 1906R has also prepared several inline styles for later this year, such as this newly-revealed, Hornets-friendly colorway. Atop a white-dominant base, the pair crafts what is essentially an unofficial nod to the team, incorporating hits of aqua blue and purple throughout its various accents. Black, too, is incorporated throughout, dressing the heel counter, laces, and lining.
