The below article was published on July 10th, 2023.

During the turn of the 21st century, NIKE, Inc. released a number of special projects. One such endeavor was the co.jp (Concept Japan) initiative that imagined iconic silhouettes through a region-exclusive lens.

The Nike Dunk Low received a handful of special makeups via the co.jp platform, pairs that went unreleased globally for 20 years. As the silhouette has become one of the most popular across the world, the Swoosh has revisited elect styles to launch them globally for the first time. Color schemes like “Plum” and “Brazil” saw widespread releases in 2020, and are rumored to return again come 2024. While retros so close to one another aren’t uncommon, the return of the co.jp “Brazil” Dunks is peculiar given how saturated the market has become with the Nike Dunk. If the rumors are true, however, a re-release would preface the design’s 40th anniversary, an occasion that is likely to see the reissue of several iconic color schemes.

Enjoy official photos of the last reissue ahead, as you wait for firm Nike SNKRS release details.
