Ahead of its reconfiguration via the widely-appreciated Futura tooling, the Nike Air Max 97 has prepared a collection of textiles ready to explore the outdoors alongside the full-length Air Max cushioning system.

Ripstop, suede and a fishnet mesh inject an unexpecting concoction of textures within the Christian Tresser design. Draping a dominant amount of its real estate in “Dark Olive”, the canvas upper and toe-to-heel suede overlay dress in the gloomy green finish alongside the glossy midsole. The repeating TPU panels, tongue construction, laces and collar infuse a lively contrast of “Sail” throughout the top half of the model while a thin mesh veil covers up the mid-foot window in tandem with a burnt orange swoosh.

Enjoy detailed images of the Nike Air Max 97 “Dark Olive/Sail” below as we await further release details.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Air Max 97 Futura has achieved a uniform “Triple Black” look.
