The last seven days have been full of sneaker-related headlines, but none greater than the official launch of the Kobe Brand by Nike.
As Mamba Day and the late Bryant’s birthday passed, dozens of projects from both the Swoosh and other brands surfaced, delivering more options than ever to casual and diehard footwear fans alike. The Oregon-based institution unveiled several exciting pairs from the Nike Air Max series, as well as looks at some of its Halloween 2023 collection. The Air Jordan line, as has become customary, also grew in numbers. Competitors to NIKE, Inc. also drew attention via upcoming releases, but with the exception of the most recent adidas Yeezy restocks, they paled in comparison.
For all that and more, check out our top headlines of the week from August 19th to August 25th.
