The New Balance Fresh Foam BB Returns From Recall In “Sky Blue”

The New Balance Fresh Foam BB was initially released at the turn of 2023, yet quality control issues in regard to the outsole cracking forced the Boston brand to recall its latest on-court technology back in March. However, it seems that the Basketball banner has found a solution as the silhouette has begun resurfacing on the NB website, including the striking “Sky Blue” ensemble.

Eerily similar to the titular tonal color blocking of Jamal Murray’s TWO WXY V3 PE from the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, the Fresh Foam cushioned silhouette stretches faint blue hues from the mesh upper to the suede heel foxing. Slightly darker contrasts imbue the laces, heel counter and the TPU upper overlays with a layered effect while streaks of white illuminate the profile “N” logos. A seldom royal blue appearance fills the uppermost eyelets as the hexagonal system underfoot pairs off with a semi-translucent gradient finish.

Enjoy an official look at the New Balance Fresh Foam BB “Sky Blue” below while we await further release details.

For more from the basketball landscape, Anthony Edwards recently revealed his AE1 signature in Atlanta.
