Throughout the summer, we received word of a Brogue Wingtip treatment touching down across a number of Nike’s lifestyle products. While this grade school Dunk Low doesn’t feature the same gentleman’s design, the brownscale treatment and plaid detailing are honored as an off-distant cousin.
Seemingly exploring the inverse color blocking of the Air Force 1 Low “Hemp/Coconut Milk” from this past September, the Peter Moore design opts for a dominant brown finish atop the smooth leather overlays and tongue tab while a crisp white hue animates the smooth leather base layer. The tongue construction is filled with a vibrant copper corduroy texture while rope laces and the inner lining assume a seldom light tan accent. What’s more, the profile swooshes and heel tabs dress in a neutral-tinted plaid textile that incorporates each of the varying hues from above.
Enjoy a detailed look at the grade school-exclusive Nike Dunk Low “Brown/Plaid” below as we await further release details.
In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Dunk Low “Día De Muertos” releases on October 21st.
