The New Balance 2002R Appears In “Castlerock”

The New Balance 2002R resides as one of the Boston brand’s laurel lifestyle offerings. As the weather takes a turn and more care is required to keep your shoes clean, the N-ERGY cushioned silhouette has embarked on a set of jet-black sole units to combat the winter’s unexpected weather patterns.

Joining a recently revealed “Tobacco” cured composition, this greyscale effort also indulges in a pitch-dark midsole construction. Further gloomy color matches appear within the inner lining while the upper’s nubuck and suede real estate assume a clad “Castlerock” treatment. Illuminated via the crisp white trim of the profile “N” logos, the tonal greyscale aesthetic continues to engage the heel’s sliver of mesh alongside the tread underfoot.

Enjoy a detailed look at the New Balance 2002R “Castlerock” below while we await further release details.

In other news, the Kobe 8 Protro “Radiant Emerald” recently surfaced in first-look imagery.
