As fall gets going, the once-Japan-exclusive has appeared in a “Vintage Indigo” arrangement. A light-colored mesh is visible at the toe box and around the collar, setting the stage for darker-colored suede paneling. Plastic components peek out at the profiles, speaking to the New Balance shoe’s performance origins. Underfoot, the blue-covered sneaker features an understated look that allows for the upper to revel in the spotlight. Rollbar components bring a punchy beige into the mix, rounding out the “vintage” retro.
