“Vintage Indigo” Lands On The New Balance 580

The New Balance 580 hasn’t taken off in popularity like some of the brand’s other propositions, but it continues to take on new ensembles.

As fall gets going, the once-Japan-exclusive has appeared in a “Vintage Indigo” arrangement. A light-colored mesh is visible at the toe box and around the collar, setting the stage for darker-colored suede paneling. Plastic components peek out at the profiles, speaking to the New Balance shoe’s performance origins. Underfoot, the blue-covered sneaker features an understated look that allows for the upper to revel in the spotlight. Rollbar components bring a punchy beige into the mix, rounding out the “vintage” retro.
