Beyoncé And adidas Confirm Relationship With “IVY PARK NOIR” Collection

It seems like Beyoncé and adidas haven’t called it quits after all.

Back in March, The Hollywood Reporter broke news that Beyoncé and adidas terminated their deal over creative differences. Today, the Three Stripes has announced the “IVY PARK NOIR” collection, confirming the two collaborators still have a working relationship.

The Renaissance Tour artist joined the German sportswear behemoth as a brand ambassador in 2018. In early 2020, both parties announced the revival of IVY PARK, the athleisure brand first introduced to the world in 2016. Every collection from Beyoncé and company has followed a theme – “Park Trail,” “IVYTOPIA,” “HEART OF IVY,” among others – with the latest enjoying a “NOIR” concept.

Touted as “A celebration of movement,” the “IVY PARK NOIR” lineup includes 40 different pieces ranging from a Reversible Latex Bucket Hat to Shiny Tights. On the footwear side, the collection offers the Ozweego Knitted, Savage X Trainers, and Supersleek Long Boots. The sneaker designs opt for “Cream White/Cloud White” finishes while their taller counterpart enjoys a muted “Core Black” look. The latest launch aims to “[champion] the human form through silhouettes that embody power, freedom, and uniqueness,” as stated on its product pages.

The financial standing of the IVY PARK x adidas relationship hasn’t been publicized, but reports from earlier in the year found that revenue from the partnership fell by more than 50% in 2022. The Three Stripes had been quiet about its deal with Beyoncé, focusing on partnerships with Wales Bonner and Bad Bunny instead, while reenergizing adidas Originals on its own. However, the brand’s social media channels are currently promoting IVY PARK’s latest drop, suggesting all things are well for now.
