Extra Butter Returns To Their adidas SC Premiere Collaboration For An India Exclusive Drop

adidas has no shortage of big names in their extended family, from world-renowned artists the likes of Bad Bunny to many a former friend of the Swoosh. Even some of the most prolific sneaker boutiques proudly flaunt the Three Stripes, collaborating on the footwear brand’s extensive catalog of Originals.

Extra Butter, for example, has been working with adidas for the last few years, and shows no signs of cutting ties anytime soon. The two have even reprised their partnership for a very special, India-exclusive release, harkening back to their collaborative take on the SC Premiere from 2020. Repurposing the design language of said release, this forthcoming pair features an off-white cable knit along its unders, complementing not only the leather panels over top but also the custom hangtag, sole, and lace unit. A somewhat muted red, then, comes in along the outsole, heel, and sockliner, backlighting the retailer’s “EB” and cricket-inspired branding.

In addition to the SC Premiere, the capsule will feature an apparel range consisting of club blazers and pants, cable knit sweaters, and other cricket-appropriate attire.

Effectively the first-ever adidas collaboration to be made for India, the Extra Butter x adidas SC Premiere “Cableknit 2.0” celebrates both the upcoming Cricket World Cup as well as the boutique’s arrival in Mumbai. Expect the entire collection to be available on Nov. 4th exclusively at the newly-opened storefront.

Speaking of the Three Stripes, more adidas Simpsons shoes are on the way.
